the company i work for is thinking about putting a dump insert in to a 3/4 ton chevy pickup. i want to know if the truck is big enough to handle on or would we have to put in an overload spring or air bags on the truck. the other thing is from those of you that do have them is it worth it to buy one

depends what you want to use it for, they are great for grass, leaves and mulch. If you want it for stone and dirt i would say buy a heavier truck

I have one in my F350. It works great for Mulch, grass and for a small leaf box. I would go with a mason or rack body if it will be used for dirt or stone. I also put extra springs & shocks in, so the back of my truck is a 450. So is it worth it..YES, but don't make it your #1 dump.
