I don't want an insert and putting a dump body on adds weight and kills fueal and pay load. all this is gonna do is dump grass clippings and leaves period. Has anyone put a hoist under their factory bed and made into a dump bed. what do i need to know i found kits from 800 to 1200. any previous experience or knowledge or slight modifications would be appreciated.

I was thinking about doing that but then thought abought the bed and how it probobly isn't sturdy enough for what I was goimg to put in it. For grass clippings it should be fine though. I personaly prefer Truckcrafts aluminum insert.

I'm interested in the stock body inserts as well. They can hoist a ton if you have a 1 ton truck so that dosen't matter, they will be sturdy enough.

Just dont load anything too heavy, it'll twist your bed.
