dump trailer sides

    how do i raise the sides on my steel dump trailer?

    Do you not have the 2x4 slats in the sides of the body?

    i bought it used, and some of the stake holes are bent. anyway a 2x 4 wouldnt fit in the holes?:hammerhead: i wanted to lay a 2x 12 on its side and make it 1 ft. higher.

    thats what im looking for. i do have a welder. any beter pics or ideas?

    you can buy new stake pockets fairly cheap from any trailer shop.

    Stake pockets are the open metal things on the side of the trailer where you can slide a board in (usually a 2x4). If you look at my link, the first pic should show the 2x4s in the stake pockets to give you a general idea.
