If u are in Gary,IN their dump site is located next to the airport. Hobart has a dump site off of route 51. I hope this info was helpful.

I would try asking a farmer if there are any close by. The leaves and grass make good compost for their fields. I dump on my old farm. The new owner just spreads them like cow poop.

In Chesterton you can dump grass. I am not sure of the location though. In Valpo you can dump leaves at the compost dump on Route 130. However, they do charge contractors to dump at both locations so I would find a corn field somewhere.
