    Thanks for the info

Just upgraded to QB 2006 Pro. E-mail invoices and statements to customers that are computer savvy. Saves on the postage, envelopes, ink and paper.

I thought of it , waste of time cuzz soooo much of email is junk and is easily over looked .
It's better to get them to go for auto payments via QB

We send approx. 15% of our invoices out via E-Mail, it has worked well for us.

Yes, I email a lot of invoices & estimates with much success. From what I've found people prefer it. It's such a huge part of our society today. Especially with 2 income families sitting at the office all day behind the computer.

The problem I have found , if it's not in the hand , like mail , it's easy to forget.

    I agree,

I used it before in the past, only approx 2% of my customers would take advantage of it. But then a lot of times like stated, people forget about it

Yes I use Quickbooks Pro 2006. No I have not set up the AutoPayments feature, I just use the recieve payments window and have the credit card information already entered and Quikbooks runs the transaction. The customers that get the E-mail statements all send a check and do not want me to charge a credit card, but I do have another group of customers that have me charge a credit card each month, these folks don't even ask for or recieve an invoive each month even though I do have an invoice in my system for them.

It is pretty popular here. It is a great system combined with autopay. The whole process is instant and streamlined improving cash flow for maintenance.
