Anyone ever heard of an Eagle Star walk behind? I bought one used to start my business. It runs and operates great. I am just wondering where i can find parts for it if I need them and it seems to be a pretty rare name. Any ideas? THanks.

That might be one of the Chinese mowers that are Landscaper Supply clones.
I was thinking I saw an ad for those once. How old of a machine is it? Those Chinese mowers started showing up under many names about 3 or 4 years ago.

    Mowingman,

I believe it is about 5 years old. I am just worried that when I need parts I will not be able to find them. Doing a little research in anticipation of needing parts some day. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I bought a used eagle star 36' a few years ago for $300. I think it was 8 years old. It ran great for 2 seasons & then I sold it. I could never find parts and had to match up parts from other mower brands. The repair shops had never heard of that brand. I think yazoo/kees used to make it.

It they are that old, then they are not the Chinese mowers.

I just bought a 48" 20 HP Kawi Eagle Star. It is about 5 years old. I paid $650 for it. The engine runs great and the cut is very good.

I am still doing some research on it. Maybe it will last 2 years (just a a few lawns right now) then I can afford to upgrade.

Any ideas on fitting a rear wheel (Velky SP?)?

    Thanks

    Mike
