Ear protection/listening to music

    All ear muff style ear protection is hot because there can't be any openings. I don't feel that they are heavy at all, 3M TEKK are probably one of the lightest.

    I use the E-A-R earbuds they have 25db protection and are limited to 82db volume to you hear the music coming from your mp3/ iPod and still hear the mower or trimmer some so if you alarm is going off you can hear it. You can get them at gemplers

    I got the new verizon bluetooth headset.....

    Works with your smartphone
    Bluetooth so no cord to your phone
    Sets on your neck andd earbuds go in your ear

    Voice activated to make calls and answer calls without pulling phone out of pocket
    When not in use/no earbud in ear, the device will vibrate to let you know you have have a call

    Overall...i give it an A minus

    Made by lg hbs 700 stereo...
    Ps this does not go on your head and does not restrict movement when working
