    Hey everyone,
    SchlepRock here.
Just got back on after a few years being off.

Question: In your opinion, what's the best cost effective herbicide to use in early spring weed control like for let's say chickweed?

    3 way amine, Triclopyr, speedzone?

I have found that when the temps are cooler Speed Zone works well. As soon as it starts to warm up we switch to Eliminate.

    Thanks.

I read a few posts and it seems to be unanimous. I have some quicksilver, so I'll just spike the mix myself.
I love how well that stuff works in the fall. After the sticker shock wore off I got accustomed to it.

There is no need to spike Speed Zone with Quick Silver. Speed Zone already contains Carfentrazone which is the active ingredient in Quick Silver.

Speedzone works for us. We treat warm season grasses.

For me, i like 3 way for chickweed (especially) Works great. You can also spike it w/ octane or quicsilver.

I use speedzone and then switch to surge once it gets warmer out.
