What is the easiest and fastest way to get rid of star of bethleham? It is taking over a recent landscaped area.

I you're in a hurry - herbicide. If not, the bulbs can be hand weeded out, but it's very labor-intensive. I suppose it boils down to the clients' tolerance for chemical use.

SpeedZone works well...particulary in cool weather in early spring.
WE have one property that had it all over in the beds last year. SZ did the trick but you will likely have to hit it more than once as new stuff will keep popping up until warmer weather takes over and it will then go away on its own...that is until next spring if you dont get it all.

Pulling it out is almost impossible and it would take you forever

Star of B is a real pita....
