We had our website built last year and launched in the fall. I'm working on some final tweaks in preparation for the upcoming season and thought i'd share it here. Would like to hear any constructive criticism.

    Thanks.

I will point out a few things that you may or may not know about...

    1. Your employment form says at the top above the form: "Need content and insert form." It was probably just a note to the webmaster that he forgot to take out. http://www.eastcoastgreen.net/contact-us/employment/
    2. On your New Lawn Care Tips page, there is some html code showing at the beginnings of each paragraph. http://www.eastcoastgreen.net/resources/homeowner-tips/

    3. On your home page, the 3 images that say commercial, residential, and maintance below the slide show, you should make that image a link, not just the text. Try to make it as easy to navigate as possible!

    4. Just to be honest, I don't think you need a page about your equipment. I made the mistake a while back of making an equipment page on my website and the truth is, my customers didn't care about the equipment I had. Just my opinion...

Overall, I REALLY like the site and it should certainly drum up some business!

Per kirk's suggestion making those residential/commercial images clickable would be
a plus, but also consider changing those 2 images to something that represents
    commercial VS residential.

Also your TITLE tag looks like it could have a few too many words, while your DESCRIPTION tag is empty...

    Kirk,
Thanks for the feedback. I forgot about 1 and 2 being like that. I think that was the original plan for #3 but not sure why that didn't happen. The equipment is to show our commercial customers our capabilities not really for residential.

    Glad you liked it.

The tags are one of the things on my to do list but thanks for the reminder. I need to get those done for searchablilty, not sure that's a word.

    Thanks.

Keep in mind once your site gets indexed by search engines as it is now, it may take a while, before it gets re-indexed with updated description tag.

With that said google will automatically choose the "description" for your site, which is not always beneficial.. better get it done yourself.

I haven't checked if your site is already indexed.
