Eb630 Primer problem

    On one of my shind blowers the primer ball wont re bubble as a result it is not getting any gas and wont start, does anyone know the reason and the cure Thanks. Joe

    Replace "bubble" if it has been damaged. Maybe the vent isn't letting in air to the tank don't know where it is on your unit. Echo has small white colored device that is the vent.

    You could have the hoses crossed.

    I have had that happen once or twice on Shindaiwa trimmers. Disassemble the primer (make sure hands are 100% clean) spray valve out with carb cleaner and press the valve back in place and move finger in circular pattern around valve and it will reseal. I am not sure what causes the valves to pop but I have to repair one about once every 2 years. You also want to be verry careful with the gasket not to get dirt on it as well.
