Yesterday when I started my ECHO blower/vacuum, the thing was running at almost flat out rpms with me hand off the throttle...I checked that adjustment screws and they seem ok...it almost seems like the finger throttle trigger might be jammed??? Any of you had this problem ??? thanks much

check the throttle cable. I have had them catch sometimes on stuff. Spray some WD40 up inside the throttle cable and see if that ehlps any

I know that this may seem obvious, but there is a "cruise control" feature at the top inside of the handle. Could it be in the wide open position?

Martino...well guess what...this dumb fart had the cruise control lock 'on' as you suggested..I thought I just jammed it somehow. Now I thought about quietly slinking away from your response since my face is beet red. But then I said , if I'm that damn dumb then I deserve whatever heckling comes my way....you're proably wondering if i even know which end of the blower to hold....I think I need to take a day off and play golf or something...

Look at it this way.....didn't cost you a penny to fix! This stuff happens all the time......chainbrake in on position; won't start. Tractor PTO engaged; won't start. I won't disclose which of those things I learned about the hard way, but here's a hint. It had to be picked up and deilvered back by the dealer....$40 charge!

Glad to hear you got a simple fix for your problem.

Best solution now would be to change the first letter in your screen name from a K to a D.

    :) Just kidding.

    Have fun!
