You would be better served by getting a larger backpack blower, if you can afford it. Nearly everyone I know that has purchased a smaller one like these...ends up coming back and saying they wished they had purchased one of the larger machines.

But, BOTH the Echo and Redmax machines are great.

    +1

I'd rather have a high end handheld blower than a low end backpack blower any day. I just bought a Echo 755. :clapping:

I also have the PB 200 hand held. Ok for light clippings.

I absolute agree with the former two replies. You buy a good one and with good care will last you for years to come. You can do the job faster with a stronger blower and result, you can earn more money. If you catch it on sale, the best one will not be much over $400 where the two you mensioned are $300.

Look at a Redmax, min. 7001, 8001 better!!! They are true 2 cycle and is strong. Echo 751 is good too. Stay away from Hybrid 4 cycle from Shindaiwa and Stihl. Stay with true 2 cycles.

    Call around for special sales.
