Echo Pro-Sweep Maint.

    As some of you may have seen, I got an echo pas 260 with prosweep for christmas. I was using it the other day to sweep some sand off of a driveway.

    When I was finished, I noticed quite a bit of sand build up in the middle of the broom housing as well as it was quite hot. My manual does not say anything specifically about the pro-sweep; just the pas itself.

    any that have these, is what cleaning actions do you take-or am in doing somthing wrong.

    We have the same unit, I have not looked down into the broom housing in the last three years we have had it. When doing spring clean-ups we wash the brissels about twice a month with a garden hose, have not had any problem so far. I don't believe there would be problems with the heat either, there is a lot of friction occuring, but like i mentioned above after three years we have not had a single problem. MN Wildwood
