Right now i have all echo equipment. I do this because they all run the same gas mixture. I have been hearing alot of good things about the redmax blowers and was wondering if they use the same gas mixture as echo?

If you upgrade to a quality 2 cycle oil such as Amsoil 100:1 or Opti you can run the same mix in any machine. I like the Amsoil Saber myself. 3 years and no problems to report. Added bonus, these oils are smokeless and the machines run cooler with less carbon build up. Yes it is more expensive, but it makes more mix fuel per qt. than standard oils as well as I have had plugs last 3 years without changing.

    Saber™ Professional Synthetic 100:1 Pre-Mix 2-Cycle Oil (ATP)
AMSOIL Saber™ Professional (ATP) is formulated with exclusive AMSOIL synthetic base oils and premium additives. Designed for lean mix ratios in two-cycle motors, Saber 2-Cycle Oil has excellent lubricity and cleanliness properties to control friction and prevent wear, plug fouling, ring sticking and exhaust port blocking. AMSOIL Synthetic 100:1 2-Cycle Oils have been protecting and providing improved performance in two-cycle motors since 1973.
