Does anyone know if I can put a hedge trimmer head (90 degree articulating) on this stick? It has a steel shaft, not a cable. I heard that you could do this with the Sthil's (as long as it had the steel shaft). Basically, I need hedge trimmers on a stick for a one or two time a year job and I'm not sure if I want to spend $500 if I don't have to.
    thanks

You could do it if you had the 260 not the 260s. All the PAS attachments use a flex cable shaft so you could buy an attatcment and scrap the short shaft that comes with them. But your solid shaft will not work with the attachments. sorry.

Try it, I think it will work. Echo sells the articulating trimmer head with no shaft.

The problem may be a broken solid cable, if there is a problem at all - which I doubt!
