I bought a replacement fixed line head for this trimmer, BUT, I can't get the old one off. Any ideas? I know this might be a stupid question but are the threads right or left handed?
There also is a hole at the base of the head that looks like a locking hole to hold the base while you screw off the head but I can't find the lock hole. Sorry if I'm blabbering but I've been wrestling with this thing for 2 afternoons now and I'm:angry:

It screws off the opposite of what you might think. Twist it to the right. Use a small screwdriver to hold the shaft still by putting in that "locking hole" you discribed. BTW that hole has to line up for the screwdriver to fit in. Turn the head around until the holes line up.

Thanks for the insight, I'll give it another shot this afternoon.
