I have an older (like early '80's model) Echo SRM-200-BE line trimmer. I have it running great, but I can't figure out how to get the trimmer line put in so it works properly, could someone help me out here?

    Thanks,
    Matt

i found an archaic echo and was thrilled to start it and use it. the thing was kinda heavy compared to my echo's! lol. so, out of curiousty of mine, do you plan on using this beast as part of your main equip.? if so my advise toward the bump head problem is to replace the whole unit with an ergononic new echo....thanks

No, it won't be my main trimmer, I didn't buy this Echo, I got it as a "bonus" with my Gravely tractor (for snow and grading), it'll just be for backup and lending if a neighbor needs to borrow a weedwacker. Anyone know of a better head that will fir this model?
