Earth & Turf is also coming out with two new compost spreaders one is a push unit that holds 4.5 cu. ft. and a three wheel design that will carry 600 lbs of material. They were displayed at the GIE -EXPO in Louisville KY last October.

Let me know what it needs to do and I may be able to build a custom remote controlled unit for you.

Open doors & pull off back to fill. After exhausting 2-3', close doors & dump bringing material to the back & repeat.

If you have a helper the two wheel barrow method I use will keep your machine going non-stop. I hauled 15.7 yards last Monday and did four houses that added up to be about $2500 in sales for the day. I've got to drop off my trailer this week to bet my disc brakes installed.

Anyone come up with a better discharge door adjustment handle. Im used to it now but in the beginning it was so easy to burn your hand on the muffler. You'd think R & D would have experienced that on day one. I don't want to start with any drilling or welding on new machines, maybe I should loosen the nut so It closes with little pressure.

I'd just love to have an annual contract servicing a cemetery or something huge. Only residential so far & its slowing. Some of our topdressing jobs performed 2 months back could use another treatment but im not convinced they want to pay another $275. $55/month might be more manageable for our clients.

I did about $25K in sales this spring with my Ecolawn. I am very happy with my first season results. Ecolawn has paid for it's self and helped me feel better about buying a dump trailer last year that wasn't a must have item at the time. Everything worked out perfectly with top dressing my first year.

Are you guys using old school compost that has been turned and aged for many months or stuff that was flash composted using a Scarab? The old school way is better if you can find it.

I spread Cowshroom, its Black Kow brand Composted Cow Manure blended with Organic Brands Mushroom Compost. Occasionally its not as screened as id like & I end up having to rake up bits of mulch pieces which takes extra time, mostly just on short Zoysia turf.

Compost has been real wet & heavy lately. Unfortunately im doing more pushing than id like. Sometimes the Ecolawn wont even move until I manhandle it. Belts are plenty tight so what gives? Maybe a larger pulley for more low-end torque?
