I am in the market for a new 36 inch Metro and was wondering if anyone has had experience with the ECS controls on belt driven walkbehinds? I know that the ECS controls are the hot setup with hydro machines but havent heard any reviews on them with the the poor man belt drives. And for people who have used them on belt drives, is the ECS worth the extra $$ or should I stick with the trusty pistol grips? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

When I bought my Metro, in April this year, there was no extra charge for the ECS. I'm selling mine and buying a hydro. If you're interested, PM me.

I love the ECS handle so nice and easy, and Yes buy a Hydro so much nicer from what I've seen and tested.

Did you use them with a belt drive machine?

Yes my dealer had both units with a belt and with a hydro, Just go to your local dealer and ask to try both out. I dont see why they wouldnt let you.
