Have a commercial customer that we currently service for a new residential neighborhood. He has asked me to mow and edge roadways and sidewalks that haven't been serviced sinced installed. ( 3 to 4 years )
Looking for ideas in regard to the edging only. Right now we edge, shovel, hoe, weed eat and edge again. 5" to 8" of soil and grass to remove.
Thinking of renting a dingo for the bucket to scrape.

You may want to take a look at the Turfco Edge R Rite ( Turfco.com ). It cuts like a sod cutter back and forth and has 5 bllades for 5 types of cutting. One of the blades is a disc blade ( like a big pizza cutter and sharp) . It will cut thru 3 inches of dirt / grass on sidewalks and curbs like butter. It cuts along like a giant pizza cutter with the blade rubbing right along side the concrete and you just push the grass / dirt out of the way with your foot. On the curb cuts you flip the blade so the machine will stay in the grass and do the same. Cut it toe it into the street at the rate of 70 feet per minute.
You can all Turfco at 800-679-8201 ext 119 for Lynn
