I have done a search and cant find the answer i am looking for. I was wondering what the average price per linear foot people charge to edge. Mostly first time edging with a stick edger. Is the touch ups after , less money?

For the first time especially if it is very bad try to figure out how long it will take you. Not just to edge but also to clean up that unholy mess. Then just x your hourly rate.
Normal regular edging is less. About a $1 per 100lf.

Too many variables. With the soil being cut off, how much is being cut off? (width) Thickness? Soil type? How much crud is already in the curb? There are several things to consider.

  4. I dont use a stick edger but a pusher and
same as lawndoctor for clean up
time X my hourly rate for clean up edging ( quoted as $ to cust.)
about the same for maint. edging (1.50lf)

all works out to about the same hourly rate

Same here. You need to figure a minimum hourly rate and figure from there.

I don't know about first time edging, but regular maintenance edging, $.035 per ft.
