edging

    When the edging is over grown it is much faster with a blade edger. I have the old 3 wheel type edger, as I have never used a stick edger, when ever this one bites the bullet then I'll get one to go with my PAS- 260 Echo power head..

    Where I live in OZ, edging is standed with the mow. 99% of the time edges are done with the "brush cutter" or trimmer. Only rarely do I see a guy with an "Edger" To me its just another thing to carry around and it really can only be used on edges as far as I know! A brush cutter can be used around all edges, around the house, under trees, even a bit if hedging can be done with it if the owner isnt fussy, not to mention any weeds that maybe in the garden. The only time its a bugger is when its thick over the path etc but if you hit it from the side then vertically it comes up ok.
