I just bought a new Kawasaki trimmer, the KGT27A. It's powerful and weighs 10.2 lbs. But I wanted my Edgit on the trimmer. So I did the same thing I did with my Tanaka 230 -- replaced the gearbox with an Echo gearbox. This way the Edgit attaches right to it. It works great! So if you want an Edgit mounted to a Tanaka or Kaw trimmer, I happen to know it'll work if you replace the gearbox. The Edgit will bolt right up to the Echo gearbox.

I don't know, I guess you'd have to try it -- pull off your gearbox and see if the splined cable is the same size as the Echo. I found the Echo cable is the same size as my Tanaka, Kaw, and Husqvarna trimmers. The Echo head w/ Edgit worked on all of them.
