My current focus has been landscape maintenance. I would like to include installation of pavers and retention walls. What is the best method of learning how to correctly perform these services?

Contact your wholesale supplier. See if they know of any classes the manufacturer is teaching. Go, you will learn a lot there.

Also, do some searches on this forum, I know it's been covered several times....

Manufactures have hands-on seminars during the Winter and Spring.

Also, The ICPI, Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute, offers the theory behind installation of pavers. these classes are offered during the Winter and Spring too.
