Every thing said in the previous post. I will also add a few other thoughts. A good flexible hose, even in colder temps. Extra Battery with a charger for on the road use. Battery level indicator, PSI, regulator.

Take a look at the Birchmier they have a complete replacement parts line and the quality is there..
    http://www.birchmeier.com

The 15 liter Iris model is pretty much indestructible and the perfect size..

    Brass wand and tip.
Stainless steel bottom frame drop proof.
Standard replaceable pump and rubber hose.

We have tried electrics and a 2 cycle back packs all proved to heavy for all day use..

    Good luck with your plans!

The Birchmier is a good BP, IF the handle folded up out of the way , not unscrewed , the tank fit the curve of your back and if the pump was inside , then it'd be a very good one .
The web site you posted does not work right .

Sorry just thought you were looking for features of so you could plan the ultimate..

We prefer the external pump design better access easier to maintain external daily lubrication..

Assuming this new electric ultimate sprayer would be automatic that would eliminate the pump handle..

But that brings up a good point the electrics we have tried never had the power to reach some hi spots.. Could the lever stay and become an assist to the electric to give ya some extra distance when needed (sprayer Viagra)..

As far as comfort we normally add the automotive seatbelt fleece pads they sell to the straps and the frame. Adds lots of comfort and can be adjusted to the technician..

And what about adding a camel back drinking system for operator comfort a mp3 player case for the long haul.. Now thats the ultimate!

    Thanks for the response .
    I like your ideas .
Here's how I'd answer the question , if it were put to me .

    Comfort , of course.
No lid leaks or any leaks , period .
Access to the battery so you could replace it very easily at the job site and continue working , also be able to recharge it inthe truck , between jobs .
    The pump , well , I'm not designing one , I'm using what's already available .
But , it would have to be very easy to access it aswell , for not only replacement , but , to replace it with any pump you wish , it's your choice .
    Versatile
    That's what's missing in a ele bp.
    What do ya think??
