I just bought an electric jack for my new enclosed. The manual one on there was terrrible so i figured i would just get this instead. Im curious about wiring it up though. It just has a single wire for power. It is self ground which is easy enough, but what should i put that wire too. I assume my truc has power to the plug. Does the breakaway setup have enough power to power the jack. Does anyone know if my my plug in on the truck has a 12volt source. Truck has the 7 pin round setup/

i forget which one it is, i but one of the 7 pins in a 12 volt line. look it up on a diagram on line, google it. you can find the wire that comes out of the trailer's plug and splice into it.

If not, call your local RV dealer. They sell and install them a lot on travel trailers.:)

Mine is hooked up to a 12v battery in the trailer that charges off of the brakeaway system.
