I'm replacing a fuel pump on my EFI 72" lazer and can't seem to get fuel up to the bleeder. Also, can one of the fuel filters be done away with. Thanks for any help.

    Hello mowermancjc,

Only the high pressure filter is required (the one after the pump). We did have a second low pressure filter on some of the very first machines and we seen priming issues once people ran out of fuel.

Two things you'll want to do. Ensure you have enough head pressure...the fuller the tank the easier it is for the fuel to push through the air and bleed it out. Cycle the key switch. The fuel pump runs for a short time when you turn the key switch from off to on, and then starts again during starting. Instead of constantly cranking the machine, cycle it off and on several times.

I hope this helps. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us again.

    Thanks,

    Lenny
