I was thinking of putting together a basic handbook for my employee's this year. Does anyone have any suggestions or samples? You can PM me if you can email a sample.

Here is mine...I think I either got the basic idea from another member on here or I got it from MS Office's Downloadable Templates. Good luck!

That manual is VERY in depth about the rules.

Do you mind if I use this for my business?

I didn't look that manual over too well, but its also not a bad idea to have them sign a non compete also. Seems like alot of guys get wind of what your charging an hour after you teach them how to run your equipment and everything you know want to go out on their own, and alot of the time go after your customers and underbid you. If that helps at all. I'm not trying to say every employee is gonna go behind your back like that, but I've saw it once or twice.

Nherweck, I appreciate it. gotta make the rules clear as possible, and that manual seems to do it perfectly.

I actually have one saved at home. I was going to attach it as well, but forgot to, typical me :p. If I remember I'll be sure to attach the one that I have. Thanks for all of your compliments everyone!

I figured you had something along those lines from looking at your manual, it was pretty thorough and along the same line's as mine. Its just been more of a security blanket to us i guess, especially after you hire someone new to the industry and teach them the trade.
