What do you do with your employees during the slow winter months? We plow and will have other clearing jobs and equipment maintenance. I would like to lay them off for the winter, but keep track of hours and hire them back when they have a full 80 hours on the books (2 week pay period). Then I would lay them off again. is this possible? Has anyone else tried this? If you have any other suggestions, or would share what works for your company, I'd appreciate your insight. Thanks.
