Simple question. I am looking into a 12-14' enclosed for next season. How much weight can the drop down gates handle? I would need to have a gate that would handle at least 1250 lbs which is me+Z.

    Thx

Really depends on mfg, each one can be different. For the most part if you buy a quality trailer you shouldn't have a problem. Seen diesel mowers go in and out of enclosed trailers all the time without issue.

Alot of guys getting into the 8ft wide by 18ft to 24ft trailers they actually car trailers meaning the ramp can handle a car.

Also remember the difference between static and dynamic loads.

I've drivin my skidsteer up into my enclosed trailer. I also have an 18ft car hauler with 5200# axles and rear stabilizer jacks to support the load going into the rear of the trailer
