i am posting this for a friend.

he has a 14" f-550 grain dump with barn doors .
the barn doors opened and and ripped in the front of his enclosed trailer...
a guy was telling him that you can buy a skin from the dealer to repair it.

you guys ever come across this?

Cut out the wrinkled, torn, shredded aluminum. Find and buy some .030 aluminum sheeting. Cut to fit and rivet in place. Then paint to match. Good as new.

Eh, something like that happened to one of my enclosed trailers I use for hauling my 4-wheeler around, I just took it to my welder friend and he fixed it. I didnt bother to ask him what he did.
Take it to a competent metal worker and ask him what he would do.

Most dealers can order new panels for repair.I've helped repair several and the construction on an enclosed trailer is very similar to traditional home construction. The skin is typically screwed to the studs with a 'trim' piece to cover the edges.Hope this helps,Richard
