I stopped by the local Pace trailer dealer last week. He showed me a Summit model trailer made by Pace American. It was enclosed with two axels, re-enforced walls on the bottom and top of the inside with another layer of plywood. The width was 8 feet and the length was 18 feet I think. The jack was set back so that you can lower your tail-gate with the trailer attached. It also had two "feet" at both back corners you can lower to provide more stability. It was $6000. Does anyone have an idea if that is a good trailer and if it is a good price. How does it compare to a regular Pace trailer?

Summit is a top of the line in regards to enclosed trailers. Very expensive a lot of times though

It sounds like a good price for that trailer. There are some made that are just useless junk. You have to look at everything close, they arent all the same by far. That is a handy thing about them, being able to let the gate down if you have to, on the thruck
