I was wondering what is the best way to fininsh a paver walk where it would meet a deck.

The deck is at finish grade and the pavers will end where the deck meets grade. What is the best way to support the final course?

    Thanks.

Maybe a big beefy granite step sunk down to paver & deck height. Either a 13" Deep x 7" High x whatever the width of your walkway. Or go bigger, 18" Deep x 7" High, etc. Or simply use a piece of edging. What color are the pavers? Will the pavers used for the border be a different color?

Yeah, I was thinking of a piece of granite or something to that affect.

I would love to use a simple piece of edging but anchoring it will be a problem don't you think?

I do not think compacting base material under a deck at finish grade would be possible.

Agreed.......edging most likely wouldn't work, unless you had direct access. Depending on paver color, you could use a bluestone step as well. Bluestone is typically 6" thick, depth from 14-18 inches and 3' to 8' long. Just a color option.
