I have an older (10 Years) Snapper Walk behind mower who's engine cuts off when I turn on the blades or after idling for 2-3 minutes. All safety features are engaged when I turn on the blades so it is not cutting off because of a safety feature.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem? Or can you give me any recommendations on what it might be? Thanks!

Sounds like it thinks the safety feature is not engaged. Check the switches, wiring that are part of the safety system.

It sounds like one of your safety switches is bad. Chances are the engine is ok and your problem is in a switch.
