Engine ID

    I have a kawi FD661D where can I find the engine ID number? And what if it is not there is there a way to ID it with out it? I need the S0* number for ordering parts and such.

    :confused: I need the spec code. I found it once but am unable to locate it again. Do those stickers come off in the weather or the wash. I need to know where to look on the engine. Thank you for your help Mowermedic77 that info will do well for the future. thanks again.:dizzy:

    Yes they will come off with washing and weather, It is located on the blower housing or on the engine block near the starter/dip-stick tube as MM's pictures show.

    The pictures that Mowermedic77 posted show where to look and yes they will peel or wash off over time.

    Post your carb #'s and I can look up your engine.

    I am going to have to remove some parts in order to find the carb number. If you do not mind I will send you a message friday or saturday. You are a life saver. Thank you.
