    Super Z Kohler 30hp 66" with 100 hours

Engine stalls when engaging the control arms forward.

At first I thought I had a fuel system issue but I have checked the pump, lines, and filter and all appear to be working fine.

What I have noticed is that when turning the key to "on" position I no longer hear the "fan" running at this stage of the ignition. What is it that normally begins operating in the "on" position before cranking? Is it the fan over the heat exchanger for the hydraulics? If so it is no longer coming on.

Would this have anything to do with my stalling problems? The engine starts and runs but stalls when moving forward.

The fan noise is what your missing hearing, it should be on when the key is on.
As to the engine dying, does it die when you pull the levers in over your lap? or it dies when your only trying to go forward or reverse?

    Solved the issue today.

A relay went bad causing the cooling fan over the heat exchanger for the hydraulics to not operate.

The stalling problem was from a broken wire in the seat safety switch.

    Thanks
