English Ivy

    Is there any kind of growth regulator for english ivy?

    Roundup acts as a fertilizer LOL. Maybe try Embark and see if ivy is on the label.

    the front of my house is covered in it and it can be quite intrusive!!

    This may seem elementary, but my experience is that established Ivy will tolerate dry conditions but stop growing - limit the water if possible.

    Maybe you could cut it off at the bottom. Then it will die w/o roots.
