I am getting certified next month with a goal to start spraying next year. I have decided on a gregson Clark 200 gal space saver unless I find something good used. Question I have is what backpack sprayer pump or electric. What spreader for granular apps. How many back packs do you run.

Why get a license now, you will just have to get it renewed at the beginning of the year. I'd just wait till January so you don't have to pay both fees!

I have a Lesco space saver 200gal tank and we use the Lesco rotary spreaders. I carry several backpack sprayers in my truck. I have one for non-selective, one for post emergent and one for insecticide/fungicides. I usually tank mix my broadleaf selectives in my 200gal with pre emergents when needed. Then just keep a backpack for grassy weeds in the truck. I use the insecticide/fungicide sparyer primarily on ornamentals.
