I have a guy who needs a river birch tree cut down. The tree is maybe 10-12 foot tall. What would you guys charge to cut it down and haul it off.

    Thanks Tim

Well, time is money. That does not sound like a large tree at all. I could have it cut up and thrown in the trailer in an hour. If the tree owner was a regular customer, I would give him a deal. if Not, $55/hour plus disposal fee. If it were me I would charge 75-100 depending on how deep his pockets are and burn the tree one my own property and pocket the disposal fee.

ditto, $100 sounds about right for a non-customer. just remember your drive time though, you have got to unload the tree before you can do anything else.

I would say only 50 dollars because if he is a non customer, you will have a foot in the door for more projects if you do not over charge, I do not see the cutting and halling of this tree taking more then 15-20 minutes.
