I, and several of my friends in the business have been getting post-cards and promo brochures in the mail for a company called Powerscape. They are an equipment sales and service organization with locations in Orlando, Lakeland, Ocala and Tampa that would be within driving distance to me. Has anyone dealt with this company and if so, what type of deals do they give? I contacted the company and they plan on entering my county this year. The more competiton the better I say.

powerscape is based out of charlotte nc
they are buying up dealers in the southeast.
just as manufacturers are being bought by the big guys, so are some dealers.
this company was started by a gentleman that did the same with the equipment rental business. and was successful with doing it.
they look for existing commercial equipment dealers and buy em out.
i think you will see these guys to be very large in a few years.
    here is there website.

Powerscapes bought out a firm I've been dealing with for about 8yrs here in Lakeland, Fla. I think there better than the old company as far as service goes. They kept the same mechanics, (these guys know the in's and out's of commercial turf equipment and how badly we contractors depend on them and service them quickly and professionally). God Bless you Ed! The management is also more professional, freindly, and service oriented. I say two thumbs up to POWERSCAPES.

yes that was the former barfields, on albemarle rd
they also bought spain equipment over off south blvd (my ex-employer)
those were the 2 largest commercial dealers in the immediate charlotte area.
like i said they are going to own a lot of dealerships in the future.

Yep. They closed the 1 I was bragging about 2wks ago. They said the problem with this store was they lost too many product lines to the competitors and Husky would'nt step in and save the day. Russ
