a client of mine wants me to create a barrier to block the view from her porch to her neighbors run down property. i have done this before on larger properties with spruce trees where large size was no concern. she is requesting a tree that will grow no more than 8-10 feet. is there an evergreen tree that will fill out to block a view(i plan on planting 3-4 in a line) that will stop growing at that height? any other ideas for a barrier/screening type project? Thanks!!

Arborvitaes sound like what you are looking for depending on size 5-6 ft plat 4 ft centers might take a few more to come up with the distance but grows 10-15 ft tall and stays narrow at base maybe 3 ft diameter depends how you trim it also be sure to tie them up in the winter
