I usually talk to the guy who sprays at the power plant where I work. I can't do it, conflict of interest. The front lawn is 4 acres of common bermuda. The LCO puts out 2 qt. per acre of 2-4d, Simizine and Pendimethalin for round 1, he did round 2 yesterday which was 2 qt. of Triplet, 2 qt. Pendimethalin and 1 1/2 qt of MSMA per acre. There wasn't but maybe 1 weed per 2000 sq. ft. I asked applicator wht they used so much 2-4d and he said that they like to put out at least a quart per acre of 2-4d every round because it is cheap and it reduces call backs. Common bermuda must be the toughest grass on the planet.

Well that dude is wasting a lot of money IMO.

Once Summer weather sets in, it is really too hot for 2,4-D anyway. Not to mention the fact broadleafs are generally not much of an issue when the Bermuda is thriving in the heat.

You might see some spurge and virginia buttonweed, but that is about all.
