Has anyone ever bought a client list? How did you make the tranaction?
Did you have a contract? I was looking to have my attorney draw up a contract. Wanted to get some opinions on how you guys may have handled this before.

The person is out of state caring for a sickness in the family that is 500 miles away and is unable to come back to the area until thing get better. So uncertain when that will be.

i do this frequently when plowing

I have a handful of customers in an area that a freind is well established in

he has a few in area i am in heavy

We call it a wash and just service them and bill as if you did it yourself...

if someones truck goes down... we cover/sub each other and just 1099 the other person

its easier this way...you bill just your usual customers and after the storm you get a check.

As for mowing... i don't trade accounts as i'm not a mow and blow and i really don't have anyone in my area that shares my buisness plan...

If it s slow though i can allways pick up sub work as people frequently fill the schedule to tight and then 3 days of rain will put them behind the 8 ball.

if i can't keep them for ever... i'm not paying a dime
