So I bought a new Toro Z-Master 500 about a year ago. The throttle cable just broke for the second time. The cable just snaps in the middle -- inside the casing. It's not as if I'm being rough on it or anything.
Anyone else having this problem? Anyone have any thoughts? I wonder if the dealer is installing it right.

I have been purchasing Toro for the last 5 years....ZTR's, Mid Size walk behinds, and 21". I have been pleased with them.

Went to my dealer to find out he is not caring the Toro ZTR anymore. He says there not selling.......I was like WTF.......Maybe scag and exmark have better ZTR's like everyone around here has been telling me.

Those cables are generic ...it must be routed incorrectly. Have you checked to see how much force it take to operate the throttle? The routing has to be smooth curves, no sharp bends.
