I removed most of the polymeric sand today and all of a sudden we got torrential rain. The patio is a EP henry devon stone and its about 7 years old. I do not have a tarp big enough to cover and its pouring.
Is this going to shift and lift the pavers to where I need to fix the entire patio, its 900 sqft.

My soil is mostly clay and pretty compact so I hope since the patio is older I do not get a lot of water damage.

The rain will not lift and shift the pavers, don't worry about it. I'd be more worried about getting the poly sand off the sides of the brick you've lifted. But,....if its seven years old the polymeric sand was not near as strong as it is today. Don't lose sleep over it.

poly sand is only good for a few years anyway it loses strength every time water washes through it. i coldnt see pavers moving from rain unless they are on a steep pitch.

Don't worry about what DVS says about the pavers washing away, he obviously hasn't used EPH in the last 20 years to know its one of the best products out there.

Not sure where the hostility toward EP Henry has been coming from lately.
