    Hey guy's,

Can anyone tell me the exact width of a 60" deck without the deflector or with the mulch plat installed?

I need to know the size to make sure it will fit through the door of my 6' trailer.

    Thanks, James

If your door is any where near six feet wide it should fit fine.
If the inside of the trailer is six foot wide then I would imagine that the door is at least 5' 8" or wider and should fit a 60" Lazer just fine.

My open trailer is 6' 10" wide on the inside and I have about 8 inches on each side of the mower to the trailer walls so you should be fine.

Um 60 inches is the width of the deck not the cut thats why some brands such as scag have 61 inch decks. I use a 6 foot trailer and put the 60 on there with the trac vac shoot off the side all the time theres plenty of room. I once worked for some one with a 5 foot trailer the 60 inch lazer did fit but it did touch the sides to do it.

Actually, 60 inches IS the width of cut, not the deck. The width od a 60" Lazer with the chute down is just over 72". The overall widthe of the 60" with the chute up is about 63".

Yup, somewhere around 63" wide would be about right.

Made me go messure mine I forgot about the skirt the decks had. Came up with 61 1/4 inches on my 03 lazer but the skirts have goten wider since the ultra cut decks the older tri vantage was a lighter gage. However what you stated runner could also be right not all 60 inch decks are set under the mower the same way on my 27 kohler the shoot sits flush and does not over hang at all. But the XS I drove last week did not go all the way down and did stick out quite a bit even more then 3 inches if I recall.

There is some overhang from the discharge chute as well as the actual width of the deck.

I just stated that some have that but not all My 44" lazer had exactly what your talking about but my 60 the shoot does NOT even come to the end of the deck. It depends on weather it sits on the spring or if it sits on the deck each one is different.
