I have an exmark 26hp efi. I'm looking for a aftermarket replacement hydro filter. If any one had any numbers so I can go to my local auto parts store that would be great. I know a new filter is about $25 and the dealer is about 20min away, parts store is 2 min. away. My parts store as no books to cross reference filter numbers. I appreciate and advice. I need to replace it tomorrow morning.

You can't put an automotive type filter on your hydro. Auto filters work on pressure, your hydro system is vacumn up to the pump. You'll mess up $2000.00 worth of hydraulics for a $15.00 filter.

The auto parts store I go to has hydro filters. It's the only one that has this really big hydro filter for my stump grinder.

Do you really want to risk damage to your hydro system by running after market parts? Go to your dealer and get the proper part. That way you know you will never have a problem

You didn't specify exactly which model, but a Lazer Z EFI w/Kohler 26/28 HP Engine uses a Wix 51374 hydraulic filter. That would be a NAPA 1374.
SAME filter fits 75-80 MG Midget car LUBE filter.

check the micron rating. exmark filters are 10 microns, the wix version for my viking is a 25 micron.
