My local dealer has a new Exmark Lazer Z HP with a 19HP Kawasaki and a 46" Triton on "SALE" for $5999. Is this a good price? What is the normal price range for this machine? I want to cut bermuda at 1 3/4 to 2 1/2", side discharge. Opinions?

Also, I bought a JD 757 60" with a 25HP Kawasaki a few years back. It is way oversized for 90% of what I am currently mowing. It only has 300 hours on it. What would be a sensible price to try to sell it for?

There's quite a few people on here that don't like the Triton deck. I'm not one of them. We have a 23/50 and cuts great on Bermuda and St. Augustine.

It seems like $5999 is a pretty good price. I don't think I have ever seen an Exmark at a price that low. See if you are able to demo the Exmark before buying it so you know for sure that it will work for what you want. As for a price for the Deere I wouldn't know, but you could run it over to the john deere dealer and see what the trade in value is on it just to get an idea of what price you can sell it for.

Traded the exact same mower in on a Scag because of the Triton deck cutting poorly.....that's an understatement!!!!!It was my third Exmark and I was a huge Exmark fan until I bought this one. Honestly, the machine didn't do anything well.:nono:

I have the same mower and paid the same price. It's an all around good mower. It cuts extremely good(for all you triton haters) and leaves a smooth finish. You can't go wrong with an exmark especially a lazer 46". It can cut larger properties and smaller ones. So it's very productive.

I've seen scags and they don't cut so great, especially when mulching. To me exmark is the best.

That's a decent price....and the Triton deck cuts real nice. I've used several brands and my Exmark that I have now is the best.

I dont know why you guys buy these 46" decks! its pointless. I would look in a JD 717A. Its a great mower. Can fit right trough gates and it has a bigger deck and cost the same. Dont get no pussy 46" deck.

My Scag is cutting better than any Exmark that I've ever had in all types of grass. I don't have to run over any areas twice like with the Exmarks. The triton I had was missing more grass than it was cutting. My 61" TT is even doing a better job on Bermuda versus the Exmark.
