I had to replace both gaskets in the middle of the hydro pumps (both were broken and leaking). Now what is the trick to getting the fluid to run back through system.Only able to get 1.5 of the 3 qts of required oil back in and wheels will not move at all. Any insight at all would be greatly appreciated. We ran unit for 15 min or so moving handles back and forth.

Sounds like an air in system problem. We took a lazer out of storage this spring. Started and ran fine. Parked and several days later trid to move it and nothing at all, no forward or reverse, ran it for long time, played iwth handles, checked relief valves, nothing. Took it to dealer, he reached under machine and tightened the hydro filter by hand a 1/4 turn, started the machine and it ran like a champ. He said they had a string of machines come in with simialr symptoms, all had oil filters that had leaked air over the winter and wouldn't run. As far as I knew the systems were supposed to self bleed. Ask the dealer or keep trying to bleed air out of system. Good Luck.

exmark used to use a filter that flowed both ways. the new filter
has a one way valve in it check the filter block that the hoses hook to it could be backwards. some were put together wrong at the factory they never knew it till the new filter was used
